Kolkata: West Bengal Municipal & Urban Development minister Firhad Hakim has slammed BJP on their agenda of Rath-Yatra’ in a party programme on Sunday morning in Bijoygarh. In his speech, he directly said that ‘Rath Yatra arranged keeping in mind the comfort of the leaders.’
Parties are counting days for Lok Sabha. Reportedly, BJP will start the most awaited Rath Yatra on the first week of December which will put an end in January. Chief Ministers of four BJP led states will be present in Bengal Rath Yatra. West Bengal is a target of BJP. Rath-Yatra, is the most awaited and glamourous event of BJP before Lok Sabha.
Criticising the event as a ‘Comforting Agenda’, Firhad Hakim said that, ‘Bengal is follower of Shri Ramkrishna, Rabindranath who have contributed for the land. People would not consider the path of Mohan Bhagbath in West Bengal.”
