Ranti doubtful for EB’s CFL Opener


Kolkata: East Bengal forward Ranti Martins, who arrived at the City on Thursday, took his first practice session under coach Biswajit Bhatacharya on Friday. Making a numerous East Bengal hearts heavy, Ranty Martins has said that he might not be fit enough to play East Bengal's opening tie in the CFL. After returning from Nigeria, the Nigerian Goal Machine has said that he would require some time to be match fit and that would expectedly not be before the first match of the red and golds in the Calcutta Football League. East Bengal is scheduled to open their CFL tie against Tollygunge Aghragami on August 11. However, Martins has shown his eagerness and zeal to work under Biswajit Bhattacharya. Both of them looked to compliment each other and hopeful of delivering for East Bengal in the upcoming season.
