Behrampore & Haldia: Indian National Congress has called for a strike on Monday, September 10 in protest of the soaring price of fuel. Behrampore Congress has arranged a rally in leadership of Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury. On the other hand, Mahishadal Congress of Haldia also called a rally to make the strike a successful one.
But TMC in Haldia has called for a rally against the strike as Partha Chatterjee said that TMC party did not support the strike but decided to protest on the issue against which the Left are protesting. So they called for rally against the strike at Brajalal Chowk Chowmatha more where Primary Education Council head Manas Das and other people of TMC will participate.
Slamming TMC, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said, “All anti-BJP party must support the strike. Congress holding the protest for the common people. If somebody of the state don’t support the protest then it is clear that state government favouring whom.”
