Kolkata: “There is need for central security forces in the state. The forces were removed earlier from the state for the election purpose in different states, as it was demanded by the Election Commission. Due to which the central force was temporarily withdrawn from the Jungle Mahal. But forces will be deployed again in future,” confirms Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh after the Eastern Council meeting in Nabanna with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
The Union Home Minister also said that the Center is taking appropriate measures to prevent Maoist and separatist tension in the country.
Rajnath Singh said that the meeting of the Eastern Council was successful.
