Rajat Majumdar likely to be released on Tuesday

Kolkata: If all goes well and things fall in place, TMC Vice President Rajat Majumdar is all set to be released on Tuesday. The former IPS officer was arrested by the CBI last year in coonection to the Saradha Chitgate probe. A Conditional bail has been granted to Rajat Majumdar by the Calcutta High Court on Monday. Rajat has been barred from moving out of the city.

The copy of the bail did not reach the jail authorities on Monday. Hence, he was not released. Therefore, on getting the copy, the jail authorities are likely to release Rajat Majumdar on Tuesday.
