Rahul Gandhi to address jute mill workers in Bengal


Kolkata: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, who landed in Dumdum airport around 9:30 am on Saturday morning, has taken the plight of jute mill workers in the state, as a weapon to launch salvos against the ruling Trinamool government in the state

He will will take stock of decline in jute industry in West Bengal and address the jute mill workers on Saturday at Wellington Mill grounds. Gandhi`s interaction with jute mill workers comes against the backdrop of a number of jute factories in the state closing down.
Meanwhile, West Bengal Congress claimed that TMC goons tore down Rahul Gandhi’s hoardings at Netaji Indoor Stadium with KMC help. Incidentally, Gandhi`s trip comes on a day when Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are on their two-day visit to Bangladesh.
