As we know, former Tripura CM Nipen Chakraborty likened Present West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to a ‘sister’ and criticized the then West Bengal Chief Minister Jyoti Basu. For that reason he was created a controversy and removed from the CPM. This shows CPM’s ‘conservative idealism.’ But now, Congress don’t act like CPM and appointed a ‘Mamata lover’ as party’s new state president.
Karnatak’s Senior Congress leader and MLA, Dinesh Gundu Rao, has been appointed as the president of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) on Wednesday.
Mr. Rao elected from Gandhinagar constituency in Bengaluru for the fifth time. He also served as a Minister in the Siddaramaiah government and had been the president of the youth wing of the State Congress.
Earlier, Dinesh Gundu Rao said to the Kolkata24x7 exclusively that Mamata Banerjee took the right decision to stop the ‘Modi-mania’.
Mamata’s federal front idea proposes to put a united front against BJP in all states allowing the strongest state-level anti-BJP party to call the shots. Early work on the idea of a federal front proposed by West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and her Telangana counterpart K Chandrashekhar Rao has started. Mamata already held meeting with many regional party members to united oppositions.
