PM Modi said, “The person who has taught us a lot, Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been honoured by Bangladesh today”.
Modi said that People thought that we are near, but now people have accepted that we are together.
Modi said,”Bangladesh, like India is a youthful Nation. I am sure that Bangladesh’s journey towards development cannot stop now”
Modi further said, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made development her only goal.
PM Modi said, “When we think of Bangladesh, we as Indians feel very proud of the fact that even our jawans (soldiers) have given their blood for this Nation”
Modi said all 22 Agreements with Bangladesh have the potential to transform our bilateral ties.
Modi further said,”Connectivity is very important in SAARC. If some don’t agree then we will move forward with those who do”.
Modi said Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and Nepal have placed their priority on easy connectivity. This was a proposal even raised in SAARC Summit.
Modi said not just Asia but the entire world will now conduct an in-depth analysis of this historic visit to Bangladesh.
Modi said,”If someone thinks that the Land Boundary Agreement is about land going this side and that side then think again. It is much more than just an exchange of land, It is a meeting of hearts”.
Modi said, “Bangladesh, like India is a youthful Nation. I am sure that Bangladesh’s journey towards development cannot stop now”.
PM Modi further said,”Terrorism has no boundaries.India has been troubled by terrorism for many years. People associated with terrorism have gained nothing”.
