Quake Hits Japan’s Kumamoto Again

Tokyo: An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.3 hit the Kumamoto prefecture in southern Japan on Monday, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.

The geologists had forecasted several tsunamis around the world. After the devastating earthquake at Ecuador, now Japan faces its worst nightmare. The Kiyushu islands are located 25 km east of Kikuchi city. The epicenter is at a depth of 11 km.

Japan’s weather forecast department said no information has yet been received on the amount of loss, both life and property. Rescue process is already in progress. But no tsunami warning has been issued yet.
