New Delhi: Sunanda Pushkar’s son Shiv Menon, who lives abroad, is set to be interrogated by the Special Investigating Team of Delhi police probing her murder. Delhi police commissioner BS Bassi said that Sunanda’s son will be joining the probe on Wednesday.
At least 15 people has been questioned so far by the SIT in connection with the case. Among the interrogated are her husband Shashi Tharoor, his official staff members and close friends.
Former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh, who was also a friend of Pushkar, has also been grilled by the police.
Singh had recently said that Pushkar was depressed over the IPL fiasco leading to the removal of the Kerala franchise where she had invested a hefty amount. He had also said that Pushkar to reveal information about the IPL controversy to him.
She was found dead in a five star hotel of Delhi on January 17, 2014. In the investigation that followed, police registered a case of murder on 1 January this year.
