Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Admitted To Hospital, Diagnosed With Dengue


New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s daughter, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, was admitted to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SRGH) in the national capital for treatment of dengue, a senior doctor said. “She has been diagnosed with dengue fever and is recovering,” PTI quoted Dr D S Rana, Chairman (Board of Management), SRGH as saying.

She had come down with a fever and was admitted to the hospital on August 23 but later it was confirmed that she was suffering from dengue, hospital authorities said. She has been placed under the care of Dr Arup Basu, senior consultant, department of chest medicines.
