Islamabad: Brahamdagh Khan Bugti or Brahumdagh Khan Bugti is the founder and leader of the Baloch Republican Party, a Baloch nationalist group which broke away from his uncle Talal Akbar Bugti’s Jamhoori Watan Party in 2008.
The Pakistani government accuses Brahamdagh Bugti of leading the Baloch Republican Army, a designated terrorist organization. This is also because he has been a popular figure fighting against Pakistan’s occupation of Kashmir that he calls unlawful.
He has lived in exile, first in Afghanistan and later Switzerland, since his grandfather’s death in 2006. Today the President of Baloch Republican Party welcomed India’s claim on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. The Baloch leader appreciated the statement of PM of India. He called for India’s intervention in Balochistan as India is world’s largest democracy and a responsible neighbor.
