Mumbai: The Salman magic has mesmerized the crowed again, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ has become the fifth film of 2015 to enter Rs 100 crore club, after ‘Baahubali’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘ABCD 2’. The film minted Rs 30.47 crore on its third day. The film has collected Rs 101.47 in its three days of release. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted:
This Sooraj Barjatya’s film is Salman’s ninth entry into the Rs 100-crore league. Salman Khan’s last outing ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ collected Rs 102.60 crore in the first three days. The actor had already surpassed his record of his earlier films like ‘Dabangg’, ‘Kick’ and ‘Bodygaurd’.
Not just at domestic box office, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ is even creating a buzz at the international market. Taran Adarsh tweeted:
Talking about the third day box office collections, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is still behind Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan and SS Rajamouli’s Baahubaali. Bajrangi Bhaijaan earned Rs 102.60 in its three days where as Baahubali broke all records by collecting around Rs 160 crore on its third day. But it’s expected that Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will keep its box office momentum even today (15 November).
Starring Salman in a double role, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ also features Sonam, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher, Swara Bhaskar and Armaan Kholi in pivotal roles. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film hit the screens on November 12 this year.
