Prasun Banerjee Submitted Nomination Papers


Howrah: Prasun Banerjee, TMC candidate of Howrah Lok Sabha constituency, has submitted the nomination papers. On Wednesday afternoon, he submitted his nomination papers to the district magistrate’s office. He said after file nomination that people will vote for the grassroots by seeing their work.

Prasun Bandyopadhyay submitted the nomination papers to the District Collector, Chaitali Chakraborty. He accompanied by Minister Arup Roy, MLA Gulshan Mallik, Jattu Lahiri, Trinamool leader Supriti Chatterjee and others. Before submitting the nomination papers, hundreds of supporters came to the Howrah ground flyover premises. Arup Roy told reporters afterwards, the Prasun Bandyopadhyay’s victory margin will increase further than last time.

Trinamool minister Arup Roy said, “We will win with more margin than last time. We are 100 percent sure about victory. Last time we won 1 million 96 thousand votes. Now we will win more than two and a half millions votes. People of entire India did not see the development that has been done in the last eight years in Bengal.”
