Post Poll Violence Reported Across Bengal, BJP Leader’s Houses Vandalised


Baruipur: Repeated incidents of violence continued in Bengal after TMC swept the panchayat poll. BJP secured second in this panchayat elections result. Many incidents of violence reported across Bengal.

Many BJP supporters house was allegedly vandalised by TMC misctreants as post poll violence continued. Two incidents from South 24 parganas was reported and one from Sonarpur. Kakdwip also included in the list.

BJP Panchayat Samiti candidate Kakoli Mandal of Sonarpur’s Dihi area said that after defeated in panchayat, her house and stores vandalised by some goons. According to locals, BJP members were badly beaten and also rampaged the local clubs.

In Sonarpur-2 BJP candidate Madhyam Sardar alleged that TMC goons set on fire to their houses. According to BJP leaders, ruling party allegedly attacked on them just becuase they did not cast their vote to them. BUt TMC dismissed all allegations.
