PM invites investors, says India offers opportunities


New Delhi: Prime Minister invited investors to India saying India open an immense opportunities for development.  The Prime Minister said this after inaugurating a multi-modal manufacturing facility of General Electric at Chakan in Pune. Prime Minister Modi also highlighted the government’s effort is to make policies predictable in order to attract investments. He said the number of permissions needed to set up hospitality industry is being brought down from 110 to 20.

The PM said India is fastest growing economy in world with GDP growth rate of 7.4%. PM Modi also said India offers immense opportunities for ship-building sector. Earlier, the Prime Minister who is on a day long visit to Maharashtra was recieved by Mahrashtra Chief Minister Devandra Fadnavis, Union Minister Prakash Javedaker at the Pune airport early on Saturday morning. Prime Minister Modi will attend a number of programmes and also address a farmers’ rally in Baramati. At Baramati, he will visit Vidya Pratishthan campus and also inaugurate the Appasaheb Pawar Auditorium in the town in Pune district.
