PM announces package of Rs 1.65 lakh cr for Bihar


Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced development package worth one lakh twenty five thousand crore rupees for poll-bound state of Bihar. While addressing a rally in Arrah on Tuesday, Prime Minister said that this development package will turn around fortune of Bihar.The Prime Minister also launched various road and infrastructure projects of 700 kilometres worth Rs 9700 crore at Arrah in Bihar.

Four laning of four national highways will be carried out under these projects.During his day-long visit to poll-bound Bihar, Prime Minister also addressed a public rally at Arrah.While addressing the rally in Arrah on Tuesday, Minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari said, the government is committed to provide employment to 50 lakh youths in the next five years under these newly launched projects in the state.He also said that the government will undertake to complete work worth Rs 25 thousand crore on roads and highways in the state.
