PIL filed in Delhi HC against AAP funding

New Delhi: Seeking a CBI investigation into the past and current foreign funding of the CBI a plea has been filed in the Delhi High court.

The PIL was filed after the after the AAP Volunteer Action Manch (AVAM), alleged a massive scam in the funding of the party. It was claimed that four bogus companies had made donations of rupees 50 lakh each to the Aam Aadmi Party. It was also alleged that the cheaque payment received by the party were also fraudulent.

Attending a press conference AVAM member Karan Singh said, “All money that comes from cheques is not necessarily clean. We wanted to show the modus operandi of AAP that cash is given to such companies and in return cheques are issued. The business of these companies is to turn black into white.”

The AVAM who are alleged of having ties with the BJP, claimed that they were still a part of the Aam Aadmi Party.
