Jammu: The group photos of mostly the new recruits of the Hizbul Mujahiddin have gone viral on the social media in Jammu and Kashmir sending alarm bells ringing for the security establishments in the state. although the authenticity of the photograph is yet to be identified. According to sources, the photo compiled a list of nearly three dozen missing young men feared to have joined the terror ranks.
It has been known that all the men posing in the photos are seen wearing military outfits and are reported to be Kashmiri. They were seen brandishing Kalashnikovs which suggested a dangerous trend in the area. Security has been beefed up in Jammu and Kashmir following reports that militants may plan to attack the ongoing Amaranth Yatra.
Operation Shiva has been launched by the Indian Army comprising of 7,500 jawans to provide security to the pilgrims of the Amarnath Yatra following reports from the Intelligence Bureau that the yatra might be attacked by the terrorists.
