Kolkata: A city based photographer has filed a complained against using the photographs on social media without his consent which were clicked by him.
Pritam Mitra, a city based photographer has filed a complaints at the Cyber cell department of Kolkata police. He has claimed that a Meme-making organization has posted his clicked photographs on their social media page without his consent. He also added that his photo doesn’t portrays any nudity and neither his intension was to hurt anyone. But this Meme-making organization has trolled his work and also has insulted his sentiment behind the photography.
He further added that, he also got threats from the accused. Meanwhile, based on Pritam’s complaint the Kolkata police Cyber Cell has started their investigation on this matter.
The photo is of a female model, who’s portrayed as a Bengali bride but without any outfit on her body, she is seen putting the Bengali bridal-crown on her head. Her private parts were covered by hands and Gaanch Kouto (Vermilion carrier). She is also seen Paan covering her face partially. The photo clicked by Pritam has become the hot-cake on social media for the past couple of days. The picture had gone viral on Facebook. In the meantime it has become a controversial topic for many. Hence , it has raise a storm on social media since it’s circulated by the Meme-making organistaion as claimed by the shutterbug.
