Photo Division Invites Entries For 7th National Photography Awards

New Delhi: The Photo Division, a media unit of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting is inviting entries for 7th National Photography Awards.

Total five slots have been made for the entire 7th National Photography Awards, on the basis of what the participants will be selected. Broadly there are two categories which are ‘Professional Photographers’ and ‘Amateur Photographers’.

There are two separate theme for two categories in which the photos will be selected. For Professional Category: Women-led Development, on the other hand Amateur Category must provide Fairs & Festivals of India.

Last date to submit your entries are December 31, 2018. Images will be short-listed between January 1 to January 15. The result will be announced on the first week of February and the award ceremony will take place on third or fourth week of February.

Apart from the prestige associated with the national awards, there are attractive cash prizes to be won.

To promote and present through the medium of photography the various facets of the country such as arts, culture, development, heritage, history, life, people, society, traditions, and to encourage the professional and amateur photographers across the country.
