Islamabad: Abiding by the request of Mumbai attack mastermind and Jammat-ud-Dawah chief Hafiz Saeed, the Lahore High Court on Thursday banned upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Phantom’ in Pakistan.Earlier, Hafiz Saeed had filed a petition in Lahore High Court, seeking a ban on upcoming Indian movie ‘Phantom’ for its ant-Pakistan content.

Hafiz Saeed through his lawyer, advocate AK Dogar pleaded that said Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming movie has “venom against Pakistan and JuD.” Saif Ali Khan is playing role of Indian agent in ‘Phantom’ and his job is to find Hafiz Saeed and to kill him.

Hafiz Saeed said “The film is about the 2008 Mumbai attack and global terrorism implicating the JuD. Filthy propaganda has been done in the film against Pakistan under subject of the world terrorism.”
