Pakistan violates ceasefire along IB in Poonch


Poonch: Immediately after resuing sweets from the border security force on the occasion of Eid, the Pakistan has violated the ceasefire once again along the International Border with heavy firing in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir. Two women have been injured in the attack by Pakistan. This is the sixth case of ceasefire violation by Pakistan in the last four days.

Over the rising tension along the border, the Pakistani forces refused to accept sweets from the BSF at Wagah border where sweets are exchanged among the two nations on various occasions.

According to a senior Army Officer, Pakistan Army opened “unprovoked firing” in two separate incidents in a span of 12 hours, targeting several Indian positions in Naushera sector of Rajouri district and Shah Pur Kerni area of Poonch sector.
