Pakistan resorts to unprovoked firing in J&K; 3 civilians injured


New Delhi: Pakistan troops Thursday night heavily shelled border hamlets and 8 border outposts including Arnia town along International border in Jammu & Kashmir. Three persons were injured in this attack.

Pakistani Rangers resorted to heavy small arms firing and mortar shelling in civilian areas in Arnia and R S Pura sub-sectors.

They fired mortar shells, which hit Arnia border town, where three people were injured.

The injured have been shifted to Government Medical college in Jammu for treatment.

Authorities asked the people to stay indoors.

BSF personnel guarding the borderline took positions and fired back resulting in exchange of fire. The firing continued till 2 am on Friday.
