Islamabad: At least one civilian was killed and seven others wounded in Pakistan’s missile attack on eastern Kunar province, local officials said Tuesday.
Ghani Samim, Kunar governor’s spokesman, told that in the past week nearly 1,500 missiles have been fired on Kunar province, killing one civilian and wounding seven others.
Samim said after a break of two days, shelling started up again on Monday night. Almost 400 missiles have landed in Kunar province since Monday night, he said.
“One civilian was killed in Sarkano and seven others were wounded,” Samim told. Samim further added that most of the missiles landed in Sarkano and Dangam district of the province. Security officials have not yet commented.
