Pakistan condoles Abdul Kalam’s death


Islamabad: The Pakistan Government has condoled the death of Former Indian President saying that he would be remembered for his meritorious services.

In a statement Pakistan’s Foreign Office said, “”The Government of Pakistan expresses its condolences on the demise of Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, former President of the Republic of India. Dr Kalam will be remembered for his meritorious services for his country.”

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam had served as the 11th President of the country from 2002-2007. He collapsed while delivering a lecture at IIM Shillong and was immediately shifted to Bethany Hospital in Shillong where he breathed his last.
