Islamabad: Pakistan Army on Thursday claimed to have killed five Indian soldiers and several others along the Line of Control (LoC) in Tatta Pani sector, a media report said.
Quoting from a statement issued by army’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Geo News reported that “the retaliation” by the Pakistan army came after Indian forces opened fire on a school van, killing its driver.
Five Indian soldiers have been killed and many injured, Director General Inter Service Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor tweeted. “Indian terrorism against innocent citizens shall be responded befittingly,” he said.
In the action taken by Pakistani troops, the Indian post along the LoC was also destroyed and many other Indian soldiers were injured,” said the report.
Pakistan army spokesman has also shared a video on Twitter, purportedly showing the Indian post being hit by Pakistani fire.
