Pak terrorist caught alive in Kashmir


Kashmir: A Pakistani terrorist was caught alive by the security forces after a long gun battle a month after Pak terrorist Usman Khan alias Mohammad Naveed was caught alive by the security forces. Naveed had carried out the terrorist attack on a BSF convoy at Udhampur along with another terrorist who was killed in the retaliatory fire by the BSF jawans.

Three other terrorists were killed in the encounter on Thursday while one was killed on Wednesday.

The terrorist, who has been identified as Sajjad Ahmed (22) was captured by the security forces after an overnight encounter in the Rafiabad area near the LoC of the Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir. As per the latest reports, the captured terrorist is being interrogated.

According to the Army, Sajjad hails from Muzaffargarh in South West Pakistan. The security forces had on Wednesday launched a massive operation in north Kashmir, ranging from Uri sector near the Line of Control to Panzalla in Rafiabad area, following information about presence of a group of militants in the area.
