Bhopal: A web portal of Madhya Pradesh police was hacked for third time by Pakistani hackers. Hackers calling themselves “Pakistani cyber attackers” defaced the official website of Jabalpur police with Pakistani flags and slogans claiming revenge against Indian attacks.
The website www.jabalpurpolice.org was hacked with a handle Hunter Gujjar at 11.30am. Efforts are on to restore the site. “Free Kashmir-Freedom is our goal. Territory of India excludes the State of Jammu and Kashmir,” hackers wrote on wall of the police portal. The Jabalpur police portal has been targeted for the third time.
The handler, ‘Hunter Gujjar’, according to intelligence officers, is a young techie of Pakistan origin, Mohammed Waseem, who is based in Italy. He has hacked more than 2,000 Indian websites in one year and is an active member of ‘Pakistani Cyber Attackers’.
Speaking to TOI, an intelligence officer involved in cyber surveillance, said, “Team of Indian hackers, who call themselves ‘Indian Black Hats’ breached two sites and around 10 non-government domains of Pakistan on October 26 to mark seventh anniversary of 26/11.”
