Pachauri questioned by Delhi Police


New Delhi: Fomer IPCC Chairman RK Pachauri who resigned from his post following allegations of sexual harassment against him by a junior colleague of TERI, was questioned by the officials of Delhi Police on Sunday at his residence in Delhi.

A case of sexual harassment was lodged by a 29 year old research associate against Pachauri on February 13 after she approached the TERI authorities on February 9 following which the Delhi police booked Pachauri on the charges of molestation, stalking and sexual harassment and criminal intimidation after the complainant claimed that she was harassedby him for nearly two years since she joined office in September 2013.

Pachauri has denied all the allegations leveled against him and was forced to step down as the Chairperson of the UN intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in February this year.
