Outsiders From Bihar & Jharkhand Sneaked Into Bengal: Mamata To Rajnath


Kolkata: Bengal have witnessed violence over panchayat board formation and also seeing turbulence in Panchayat elections. Trinamool-BJP clash also happened over panchayat. The ruling state government has repeatedly accused BJP and said “people from Bihar and Jharkhand sneaked into Bengal. ”

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee or General Secretary Partha Chatterjee repeatedly accused the opposition. On Monday, the Chief Minister Mamata again uttered same thing to the Union home minister.

Central Home Minister Rajnath Singh attended the Eastern Zonal Council meeting in Nabanna on Monday. Apart from Mamata, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das was Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi and Orissa’s Finance Minister were also present at the meeting. They discussed several issues. After the meeting Rajnath Singh faced the media Then Rajnath-Mamta held a private meeting.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday said the Centre is taking steps to curb all possible national security threats, including Maoism and terrorism, and will continue to do so in future. “Be it Maoism, terrorism or extremism, any sort of security threats are being adequately dealt with. We are doing whatever is necessary to curb any potential security threat and will continue to do so,” Singh said after a meeting of the Eastern Zonal Council here.

Meanwhile, BJP has decided to hold a meeting on 6 October in Islampur. On this day, Dilip Ghosh told reporters that central minister JP Nadda will be present as the main speaker at Islampur.
