Kolkata: Though the verdict of the Supreme Court on West Bengal Panchayat Elections has put a smile on the Trinamool Congress party and their followers’ face, but it has come as a major setback for the oppositions as the verdict was in favour of the ruling party.
Strongly reacting against the verdict, West Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh said, “This is not politics rather a fight of ethics. Party will decide their next step after the discussion with lawyer.”
Former state BJP chief and present party secretary, Rahul Sinha wants to utilise the verdict’s ‘Tribunal’ section as the space of retaliation against the ruling party.
