New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio address for January will be ‘special’. The PM, in this month’s radio talk, will be accompanied by President of United States of America Barack Obama. The special episode will be aired on January 27.
Ending all speculations about a possible joint radio address of the two leaders, Modi on Thursday tweeted, “This month’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode will be a special one, where our Republic Day guest BarackObama & I will share our thoughts together. I am eagerly looking forward to the special ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme with President BarackObama, which will be aired on 27th January.”
Modi also invited questions from the people for the talk show. ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with President Barack Obama will not be complete without the participation of common people, added Modi.
Significantly, Modi and Obama had written a joint Op-Ed in a major American daily when the Indian PM had visited the US in September 2014.
The US President will be in India on a three-day visit from January 25-27.
