Nun agrees to record statement: Ranaghat rape case


New Delhi: The Ranaghat rape victim nun has agreed to record her statement following a request from the CID on Saturday. The statement will be recorded confidentially.

After being released from the hospital the nun left Bengal and went to a convent in Delhi. After the CBI refused to handle the case, CID is in charge of the investigation and made subsequent arrests from Ludhiana in Punjab and Mumbai.
