Kolkata: The Bangladeshis infiltartors lived under the bridges of Kolkata. State BJP president Dilip Ghosh found new reasons to induct NRC in Bengal. After just Mamata’s meeting, state president Dilip Ghosh said NRC must be implemented in Bengal to kick Bangladeshi youths.
Mamnata told at least 20 bridges have bad in conditions. Sealdah flyover, Dhakuria flyover, Bijon Setu,Taratala Brace Bridge and many other bridges are very poor in condition. The state government has also directed the police to evacuate from under the bridge.
Mamata Banerjee has asked police to evacuate all illegal occupants from under the Sealdah flyover. I had been demanding NRC in Bengal just for this reason. The majority of these people living under bridges across the state, including the Sealdah flyover, are Bangladeshi infiltrators,” the BJP leader said, justifying his demand for National Register of Citizens of India (NRC) in Bengal.
BJP’s All India President Amit Shah said in the state that NRC will be set up when BJP comes to power in Bengal. In the meantime, Dilip’s statement raised the heat.
