Chandigarh: A Ludhiana based bakery has come up with a novel idea of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. A 3 feet Ganesha idol has been carved out of pure Belgian chocolate.
The makers of the edible idol have nailed the innovation by adding a humanitarian touch to it. Unlike other Ganpati idols, the 40 kg figurine of Lord Ganesha will be immersed in milk thereby paving way for chocolate milkshake. The owners of the bakery plan to feed the concoction to under-priviledged children.
A combined effort of three chefs, this eco-friendly idol was reportedly prepared within a week’s time. Move ever chocolate modaks, and be ready to feast on chocolate idols.
