Now save your Whatsapp conversations on Google drive

New York: After introducing the voice calling feature and the Metal Design language, Whatsapp has come up with another new feature that lets its users create a backup of their conversations to Google Drive.

All one needs to do is to update the latest version of the app and sync it with the Gmail account where the chat history is to be stored.

However, the feature is only for the Android clients and not for the iOS or Windows Phone clients.

The update comes in line with the company CEO Jan Koum’s announcement that Whatsapp now has 800 million monthly active users.
