Kolkata: Police will have to ensure that microphones and loudspeakers are not used in the city while board exams are on, secondary education authority said on Monday. West Bengal Board of Secondary Education authority holds a meeting with police authority on Monday.
Authority says microphones or loudspeakers are banned across the state not only during the exams but also three days before they start. In order to ensure a glitch-free exam on an election year, the State Government has made strict security arrangements.
This year the examination will held at 12 march and total eleven lakh students will sit for this examination. Earlier, Students of state-run and government-aided schools in Bengal didn’t participate in “Pareeksha pe Charcha” with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday after state education minister Partha Chatterjee had said they would be busy with preparations ahead of the examinations.
