Kolkata: The Noapara Member of Lagislative Assembly Sunil Singh is all set to join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday, said the party source.
A speculation has already hit the ground from Saturday that Singh is planning to change his party name. Trinamool Congress has raised question on his involvement to the party on such crucial time. Initially, he told that there is no plan of shifting the party but at last he decided to join BJP.
On the other hand, one more MLA will also join BJP on the same day. According to the BJP source , the official announcement will take place at the State BJP office of Noapara. All the decision has finalised on Sunday night regarding the programme.
The party has also informed that Aditya Singh, son of Sunil Singh along with his more than hundreds followers will also join BJP on Monday. The programme likely to take place at Noapara BJP Party office.
Sunil Singh is the Chairman of Garulia Municipality. As per the source, many councillors of the municipality will also shift to BJP from Trinamool Congress. A preliminary meeting has already done on this.
