Kolkata: Putting an end to speculations of a major reshuffle in the state BJP ranks, BJP leader and state observer, Siddhartha Nath Singh said on Tuesday that Rahul Sinha will continue on his post and no reshuffle in the party’s state ranks will happen.
Rahul Sinha’s term as the party president will expire on September in the current year. Earlier Subhash Sarkar had blamed Rahul for the party’s debacle in the state and sent an e-mail to BJP national president Amit Shah requesting Rahul’s removal. Rahul on the other hand termed the news baseless during a press conference on Monday.
On the other hand refuting any possibility of Mukul joining BJP, Siddartha Nath Singh said such news are mere speculation and should not be taken seriously, as Amit Shah had cleared that Mukul won’t be accepted in the party.
