No Farmer Committed Suicide In Our State: CM

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Friday that no farmer has committed suicide in our state. She even said that the other states must follow the way the government helps farmers.

Mamata angrily asked that why there should be the PM’s photo in the insurance form for farmers. The farmers are paying the money, so why should the PM’s picture be there.

Mamata Banerjee said that farmers commmitted suicide in Maharashtra and Rajasthan. But no one killed themselves in West Bengal.

Mamata said, “Show me a state in which treatments are given free of cost. We have increased the budget from what it was in the Left regime.”

Banerjee also lashed out at the opposition saying that Vidhan Sabha is not the place for politics but a place where people can make their developments.

Mamata, while criticising the centre, said that no treatment is available here
because of the wrong policy of the centre. No doctors are ready to go to the

The CM said, “We have built many hospitals here. Let us work on it please.”

Mamata Banerjee also announced that if any government official commits any error
while giving out ration cards, then action will be taken against them. “We are
bringing law for it. There is law, which needs to be utilised,” added Mamata.

50 percent increase in the income of farmers have been said but that is not true information. The people are being wrongly explained.
