No desire to become CM: Karunanidhi


Chennai: DMK President M Karunanidhi on Saturday downplayed his partymen’s desire for him to become the Chief Minister for another term.
Karunanidhi on Saturday said that he was more focused in protecting the party and urged his supporters to serve the people.

Party leaders wanted him to become the Chief Minister but he said that he wanted to protect the party.

He urged DMK party leaders and supporters to realize that DMK is the only movement serving the economically and socially downtrodden and they should protect it for the benefit of the society.
