Nitu’s difficult time continues


Kolkata: While East-Bengal is going through a turmoil regarding the Coach issue within the club’s interior, Debabrata Sarkar alia Nitu a key official of the club is probably losing his war in the Saradha Chitgate probe.

Debabrata, an accused in the Saradha Realty scam has filed a bail plea in the Alipore Court. The hearing of his bail plea was to be held on February 17, but the court had deferred the hearing to February 20, as CBI did not produce the Case Diary before the Court. After hearing CBI’s arguments the court on Wednesday deferred the hearing.
Sarkar was arrested by CBI and accused of being the middle man between Saradha Group and regulatory boards like SEBI. The scam had duped innocent investors of their hard earned money and created a political storm, after many key ministers and politicians like Madan Mitra, Kunal Ghosh,Srinjoy Bose and others from the rulling party of Bengal were netted by CBI.
