Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant is richer than him according to the details that have been made available by the chief minister himself on January 1, 2017.
The chief minister along with his Cabinet ministers on first day of each year declare their assets, this year it was put online in public domain on Sunday.
As per records, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has movable assets worth approximately Rs 16.5 lakh while his son Nishant has assets worth Rs 1.12 crore.
As far as immovable assets are concerned, Nitish has assets worth Rs 40 lakh while his son has immovable assets worth Rs 1.25 crore.
Nitish’s son Nishant has assets worth almost Rs 2.37 crore, which is four times than that of his father.
Meanwhile, deputy chief minister Tejaswi Yadav has movable property worth Rs 46 lakhs and Rs 1.29 crore immovable properties which includes agricultural land and commercial properties at many places.
Tejaswi also has an outstanding loan of Rs 29 lakh taken from Madhya Bihar Grameen Bank. However, the deputy chief minister does not have any motor vehicle of his own.
