New Delhi: Nitish appealed to the President for a rapid decision on the Vidhan Sabha formation issue in Bihar. Else, the BJP would continue ‘horse trading’ within the boundaries of Bihar. Former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had reached the Rashtrapati Bhawan to meet President Pranab Mukherjee along with 130 MLAs by his side. After coming out from the Rashtrapati Bhawan, Nitish Kumar addressed the press and said they have prayed before the President of India to take rapid action on the condition of Bihar. Nitish Kumar claimed that he would be able to form a Government at Bihar as he has the support of the people, MLA(s) and RJD(U), Congress and CPI . They had requested the Governor to look into the matter three days ago. As there was no step taken by Keshari Nath Tripathi, they have visited the President.
On the other hand, when Nitish was asked about the President’s version, he said that Pranab Mukherjee has assured them that rapid decision will be taken in the issue. Nitish Kumar was accompanied by Mulayam Singh, Lalu Prasad Yadav on his way to the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
