Patna: Former CM Nitish Kumar will be meeting President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday along with 130 MLAs to form the Government in the state.
On the other, Bihar Chief Minister jitan Ram Manjhi’s request for cabinet expansion was turned down by Governor Kesari Nath Tripathi following his expulsion from the Janata Dal United’s Primary membership. The Bihar Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Chowdhury has declared Manjhi as an unattached member of the Assembly.
With the lastest turn in the Politics of Bihar, Manjhi met Governor on Monday afternoon and said that he was ready to go for a floor test to prove his majority.
Earlier on Monday, Nitish also met Bihar Governor to and claimed to form the government with the support of the 130 MLAs. The former CM’s supporters have threatened to protest in Delhi if the Governor doesn’t allow him to prove his majority in the house within 48 hours.
