New Delhi: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was on Saturday heckled during an event in New Delhi ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls.
Nitish was welcomed with protests at the inauguration of the New Delhi chapter of Bihar foundation at the Sri Ram Centre in Mandi House area of the Capital. Nearly 15 people entered the hall and protested over the law and order problem in Bihar.
Some of the protesters were later detained by the police. Kumar was unfazed by the sequence of events and continued to speak at the event.
At the event Kumar said that people living outside the state must connect with their native places in whichever way possible.
