New Delhi: The wife of National Investigation Agency officer Tanzil Ahmed, who was shot dead in Uttar Pradesh earlier this month, died in a Delhi hospital today.
Farzana Ahmed and her two children were travelling with Tanzil Ahmed in a car when they were attacked by two men in a bike.
Mr Ahmed was driving back to Delhi from a family wedding in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor when the attackers stopped the car and shot him 16 times. The children, aged 14 and 11, were told by their father to duck as the first shots were fired.
Meanwhile, Bijnaur police has arrested two people identified as Tanzeem and Rizwan in connection to the murder.
