NIA arrives at Bangladesh to discuss terror threat

Dhaka: A three membered NIA team led by Officer Sanjeev Kumar Singh arrived at Dhaka on Saturday. Escalating a joint effort of India and Bangladesh to curve the growing insurgency and terror activities in the North-Eastern states and the region, the team will discuss measures with the Bangla authorities.

The issues that are expected to figure out in the discussion include Burdwan blast, cross border smuggling, and terror outfits operating from Bangladesh soil. Bolstering the joint effort, authorities of both the countries are believed to take severe measure to curve the growing terror threat in the region.
