Neymar Click Selfie With Schwarzenegger

Barcelona: Arnold Schwarzenegger and Neymar formed an unlikely duo when the movie legend paid a visit to Barcelona’s training session on Friday.

Schwarzenegger, most famous for his role in ‘The Terminator’, posed for photos with the Brazilian superstar and was seemingly delighted to meet a man he perceives to be a ‘true champion’.

Schwarzenegger wrote on Instagram: ‘Fantastic to kick off the @arnoldsports Europe by meeting a true champion, @neymarjr! Great to see you my friend!’.

Schwarzenegger is in Barcelona for the Arnold Classic Europe, a major bodybuilding event, and was presented with a first team jersey by the Catalan giants.

The former governor of California also met Sergio Busquets, Javier Mascherano, Denis Suarez and Paco Alcacer. It remains to be seen if he will be back in Spain soon.

Neymar was also thrilled to make the action hero turned politician’s acquaintance and will hope he can be as lethal as Schwarzenegger was in The Terminator trilogy when Barcelona face Sporting Gijon on Saturday afternoon.

‘Hasta la vista baby. Nice to meet you @schwarzenegger.’ wrote Neymar, who has a problem to deal with after a court reopened a case into alleged irregularities regarding his move to the Spanish champions.

The ruling comes less than three months after the National Court shelved the complaint brought by Brazilian investment group DIS against Neymar, his father, former Barcelona president Sandro Rosell and ex Santos president Odilio Rodrigues.

Prosecutors appealed and judge Angela Murillo Bordallo ruled there is still enough evidence to keep the case alive.

Neymar and the other parties being accused by prosecutors have denied any wrongdoing. The Barcelona star and his father, who acts as the player’s agent, appeared at a Madrid court in February to defend themselves.

Neymar will have to put all that to one side for the moment and step up for the Blaugrana, who will have to get by without Lionel Messi for the next few weeks after the mercurial Argentine suffered a groin injury against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
